Congratulatory message for establishment of the MaryknollConventSchool Foundation I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations and best wishes to the Maryknoll Convent School Foundation on its establishment. For 80 years, the Maryknoll Sisters have, through the excellent system of education that MaryknollConventSchool provides, tirelessly nurtured innumerable students to become knowledgeable, caring and responsible members of the community. This demanding and important responsibility is now handed over to the Maryknoll Convent School Foundation which has undertaken to be the school sponsoring body of the Primary and Secondary Sections of MCS. Constituted under the guidance of the Sisters and supported by many former students and principals, the Maryknoll Convent School Foundation is committed to uphold and continue the wonderful tradition of quality education and excellence pioneered by the Sisters and now enshrined in the Schools Mission and Vision. The Foundation will lead the School to accept the challenges of the future and perpetuate the Maryknoll spirit. I have no doubt that the Foundation will, in an open and transparent fashion, work closely with teachers, parents and all parties concerned in society to further the noble and virtuous objectives of the School, not only for the benefit of those who have the fortune of receiving education in MCS, but also the well-being of the community at large. Through the Foundation, we demonstrate that having benefited from the guidance of the Maryknoll Sisters, we are now capable of carrying on the Maryknoll spirit and tradition to benefit students coming after us.
