From 17 to 22 April 2025, 20 students from our school, accompanied by our Principal Ms Meimei Chan, Ms Carol Ma, and Mr Yip Ho Wai, participated in a six-day Shanghai Exchange Programme with Shanghai Gezhi High School. The programme provided an immersive Mandarin-speaking environment, fostering cultural confidence and national identity while strengthening deep friendships with Shanghai peers.

Highlights of the programme included exploring historic sites such as the City God Temple, experiencing astronomy classes at the school rooftop, and touring iconic landmarks including the Oriental Pearl Tower and Yuyuan Garden. Staying with host students in the Fengxian District of Shanghai Gezhi High School enhanced students’ self-discipline and cross-cultural understanding. This enriching experience has broadened students’ horizons and deepened their appreciation for Chinese heritage.
