Chinese New Year Programme
The Chinese New Year Programme, which took place on 13 February 2026, was an exciting celebratory event that united students in exploring more of Chinese culture. It featured fun cultural performances by the Chinese Dance Team, the Chinese Orchestra, and a Year of the Horse–themed play by the Drama Club. At the end of the performance, festive Chinese New Year songs filled the hall as teachers sang along, and one teacher played the God of Wealth, bringing laughter and joy to the audience.
Students then enjoyed an array of cultural games and booths, where they tackled tongue twisters, tried plate spinning, savoured festive treats like dragon’s beard candy and melted sugar art, and watched a thrilling lion dance demonstration in the courtyard. The programme allowed everyone to take in the festive spirit and learn the cultural significance of the Chinese New Year before the holidays began.
