On the first day of school, the three praesidia of the Legion of Mary, namely Mother of Sorrows, Our Lady of China, and Queen of Angels, warmly welcomed all F1 Catholic students to the Dance Room for an introductory programme. The event aimed to introduce students to the Legion of Mary and its mission of encouraging young people to cultivate a spirit of service in the light of faith and to deepen their relationship with God through prayer. Students learnt about the Legion as one of the largest Catholic lay organisations in the world, as well as its structure, weekly meetings, service assignments, and annual activities. We were honoured to have Sr Sue, Ms Christina Lee, Ms Meimei Chan, Dr Maria Lee, and Ms Maureen Chow as our guests. Dr Lee and Ms Chow shared inspiring testimonies about their faith journeys and the friendships they had built through the Legion. The programme concluded with engaging station games that fostered interaction, teamwork, and friendship among students, strengthening their sense of belonging within the school community.
