On 19 December 2025, the yearly Walkathon, which has brought together the MCS community for over 40 years, took place at Victoria Peak. Organised by our Student Association, the event this year aimed to raise funds for supporting the victims of the tragic fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po.

After the opening ceremony hosted by the President and the Vice-President of the Student Association, the Walkathon commenced. Students, teachers, parents, and alumni strode a three- kilometer-long trail, stretching from Harlech Road and continuing along Lugard Road.

The Walkathon strengthened the solidarity of our school community, and our hearts go out to all those affected by the Tai Po fire. May the victims and their families find strength and comfort in this time of sorrow.
